Science:  studying measurements in multiple forms (e.g. volume, mass, length)

Field Trips:  Revolutionary War re-enactor coming to our class describing life as a soldier and teaching us what the drum calls sound like

Bible:  missions work on China; Chinese New Year and how their beliefs differ from ours; understanding how fearful the Chinese people are due to their religion - we are free from fear because of Jesus Christ

Math:  beginning algebra concepts

Language Arts:  quotation marks; review   

Writing:  Word Choice - choosing the best words to create an image and convey our thoughts to others

Social Studies:  colonization of New York by the Dutch and the English; beginning Revolutionary War

Science:  organ research reports
