Admission Procedures

Thank you for your interest in Spa Christian School. We trust that by exploring our website you have been able to get a sense of what our ministry is all about. We encourage you to see the school “in action” by calling the office (518-885-0508) to arrange a visit and a tour of the school. You can pick up application materials at that time or contact the school office and we will transmit them to you.

The following forms are required to begin the application process:

• A completed student application with the application fee,
• A completed personal and family information sheet
• A Statement of Faith signed by at least one parent or guardian

When we have received these forms, we will:

• Contact you to schedule an interview. During the interview, you will be asked to share your testimony and explain your current church involvement. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and you will be given a Parent Handbook.
• Arrange a time for screening for your child. This is an informal assessment conducted by the teacher to help determine readiness and grade placement.
• Send a reference request form to your pastor.
• Send a request for records from your child's previous school (if applicable).

After we have received all the paperwork and have completed the screening and interview, a recommendation will be made to the Board regarding acceptance.

Before your child can begin school, we must have the following:

• A current, completed immunization record
• A current physical form signed by your child's physician
• A copy of your child's birth certificate
